2011-11-03	Inna, Thanks for all your help and especially for retrieving our passports. That is the first time I had ever done something like that. I blame it on being stressed about the Qantas situation. Our flight was a little late, but it was a very pleasant flight. The plane was a 747 and since it was only half full, we had plenty of room to stretch out and take long naps during those 14 hours to Dallas. We are happy to be home, and we had a wonderful time in Sydney. It is a magnificent city, and we really covered a lot of territory while we were there. We were especially happy to have a centrally located apartment and to enjoy the public transportation. 2011-01-02	Dear Inna, Happy New Year from a freezing and snowy Kingston. I had a wonderful stay in Sydney and I want to thank you for arranging the apartment in Hyde Park Plaza. The location was perfect for getting around the city--a two minute walk that allowed easy access to busses, and only a three minute walk from Museum station that allowed me easy access to the ferries. We were having trouble booking accommodation in Sydney due to the lateness of our booking, no one was able to help us apart from Inna. Initially she found us some adequate accommodation, we were desperate and so we were happy take anything. She later phoned us back with better accommodation, she was able to upgrade another customer to improve our accommodation. And I want to thank you for your great kindness, which was the reason, that I felt very well all the time in Sydney. For me my appartment was my home like my home in Germany, I never thought, that it would be better to be at home. From Sydney I went to Perth by train, 66 hours. My room in the train was very small and it was difficult to sleep because the noise in the night was terrible. One night I stayed in Perth, than I flew to Darwin. I visited the Kakadu-Nationalpark for three days and had another three days to relaxe. The return-flight was bad, because the airoplane in Singapore was 5 hours late, from 11 pm to 4 am in the night. But I arrived my hometown glad and satisfied, even 5 hours to late. The honey was ok, the glas wasn't broken. And it tasts very well, everybody says, who gets a bit of it. Thank you once more. But now I am at home since one week and all is like it was when I left my home in January. I hope I will meet you very soon, so that you still know, who I am! With best wishes Alfred
